Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a bowl, beat soft butter with sugar until smooth.
Add 2 eggs and mix well. Set aside.
In another bowl, sift all-purpose flour with cocoa powder, baking powder and a pinch of salt.
Gradually fold the flour mixture into the butter-sugar mixture, adding grated zest of orange.
Mix until a homogenous consistency.
If the batter gets too thick, mix by hand.
On a floured surface, roll out the batter to 1/4 in. (0,5 cm) thickness and cut the cookies with a cookie cutter.
Place the cookies on an unbuttered cookie sheet spaced 1 in. (2 cm) apart and cook 8 minutes on the upper rack of an oven. Remove from the oven and let cool.
