Defrost filo pastry according to package instructions. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Place diced apples in pot with dried cranberries, cranberry juice, maple syrup, cloves and cinnamon. Cook on medium heat for 5 - 7 minutes or until the liquid has evaporated. Remove from heat and fold in almonds and breadcrumbs. Spread filling thinly onto a tray and place in the freezer to cool. While filling is cooling prepare thawed filo pastry as per instructions on the package. When filling is completely cooled, divide into 4 equal portions and roll into filo pastry creating 4 x16 in. (5 cm) strudel rolls. Brush the rolls with butter and place onto a lightly buttered baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes or until strudels are lightly browned. Let strudels cool. Trim ends straight, cut pieces, arrange on plates and serve with caramel ice cream and warm cranberry sauce. Garnish with dusted icing sugar, fresh mint and toasted almonds to taste.
