In a pan, bring water to a boil. Add spare ribs, onion, bouquet garni, bay leaf, salt and pepper.Simmer 45 minutes. Drain and set aside.Preheat the barbecue to medium.In a glass bowl, combine all barbecue glaze ingredients.Place spare ribs on a sheet of oiled aluminium foil and brush with glaze.Cook 5 to 7 minutes on each side.
