Baste the chops lightly with the oil.
Preheat the barbecue to high.
Grill the chops 2 to 3 minutes per side.
Cover and continue cooking for 5-6 minutes, or in the oven at 400°F (200°C).
Garnish with the ginger and cheese and grill uncovered. • Season to taste.
Remove from the grill and serve right away.
