Grill sesame seeds 1 to 2 minutes at medium-high in an open fry pan. In a glass dish, combine all marinade ingredients, including roasted sesame seeds. Add salmon brochettes and marinate in the refrigerator for 2 hours. Preheat barbecue at medium high.. Drain brochettes and place them on the oiled barbecue grill. Cook 3 minutes per side (10 to 12 minutes in all), or until flesh is opaque.

Ingredients

  • 4
    store-bought salmon brochettes
  • Marinade

  • 1/3 cup
    (80 mL)
    olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)
    sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp.
    (10 mL)
    sesame oil
  • 2 tsp.
    (10 mL)
    fresh coriander, chopped

  • juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tsp.
    (5 mL)
    honey

  • ground pepper to taste.

Preparation
