In a bowl, marinate cubed tofu in hoisin sauce for 15 minutes.In a lightly oiled wok or skillet, brown tofu cubes all sides. Remove and keep hot.Deglaze wok or skillet with honey and rice vinegar. Reduce by half.Season hot dressing and stir in a dribbling of sesame seed oil.Arrange celtuce and tofu on plates.Drizzle with hot dressing.Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    celtuce (also known as stem lettuce, chinese lettuce), stems thinly sliced and leaves torn up
  • 12 oz
    (350 g)
    firm tofu, cubed
  • 4 Tbsp.
    (60 mL)
    hoisin sauce
  • 2 Tbsp.
    (30 mL)
    olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp.
    (45 mL)
    rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp.
