Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Put ham in the pie shell. Melt butter and brown onion and then, spinach. Cover ham with spinach mixture. In a bowl, beat eggs with milk using a whisk. Add syrup and nutmeg. Salt and pepper. Pour the preparation in the pie shell and sprinkle with cheese. Cook in the centre of the oven for 20 minutes. Serve hot or cold.
