In a big bowl, mix all dressing ingredients together. Add cabbage and toss. Let stand 30 minutes, tossing from time to time. Cut apples into tooth-like rectangles. Peel and slice pear. Brush cup pear and apples with lemon juice. Add apples, pear and onion to slaw and toss. Before serving, garnish each plate with three ground cherries.
