Preheat oven to 400°F/200°C.Bring a pot of water to boil. Add sliced potatoes and cook 10 min. Drain and set aside.In a bowl, mix cream, garlic, cheese, parsley, salt and pepper together.Grease an 8x12-in. (20x30-cm) casserole with butter and oil.Arrange potato slices in layers, adding cream mixture.Bake 20-25 min. or until potatoes are golden brown. Put under the broiler if necessary.
