In a mixing bowl, combine strawberries, reduced balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, extra virgin olive oil, and chopped basil.Place the bocconcini balls and the strawberries on a leaf of lettuce at the center of a serving dish.Marinate for 15 minutes.Garnish with whole basil leaves, season with freshly ground pepper, and sprinkle with maple flakes.Balsamic reduction:To make a balsamic reduction, bring a quantity of Irresistibles balsamic vinegar to a boil and cook to a syrupy consistency, reducing the vinegar by about one half.

Preparation
