Preheat oven to 400°F / 200°C.
In a bowl, mix cereal, milk, margarine and egg. Let stand 2 minutes.
In another bowl, mix flour, sugar and baking powder. Add to cereal mixture, stirring just enough to moisten.
Fill non-stick muffin tins to 2/3 full.
Make a hole in the batter with the handle of a wooden spoon and fill with 5 mL (1 tsp.) jam.
