In a frying pan, lightly brown the onions and pine nuts in the oil at medium-low.Add the oregano and remove from the heat. Set aside.Preheat the oven to "broil".In the other frying pan, sear the steaks at medium-high in the olive oil for 2 minutes per side.Transfer the steaks to a roasting pan.Spread the onion-nut mixture on the steaks.Top each steak with a cheese slice and season with pepper.Broil in the oven until the cheese starts melting.

Preparation

In a frying pan, lightly brown the onions and pine nuts in the oil at medium-low.

Preheat the oven to "broil".
