Rinse peas and soak overnight. Drain and set aside.In a pot, heat butter and cook onion, garlic and leeks. Add carrots and celery and cook another 2 min.Add peas, chicken broth, salt pork, bay leaves and savory.Bring to a boil.Reduce heat and simmer covered for about 75 min.Remove bay leaves and add parsley.Stir and adjust seasoning.
